(DALLAS – May 12, 2014) – Last Thursday, Prestige Maintenance USA (PMUSA) kicked off their annual volunteer event at the Ronald McDonald House Charity of Dallas. PMUSA employees spent a day with the local organization, utilizing their company’s facility maintenance expertise to improve and detail the charity’s interior facility.
“Our volunteer event has become a coveted company tradition that we get so excited about each year,” said event coordinator and volunteer participant, Corbin Bahcall.
“This year we had the opportunity to partner with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) in both Dallas and Chicago, and in addition, dedicated our quarterly fundraising efforts to the Ronald McDonald House as well.”
Over the next seven weeks, PMUSA will contribute over 350 hours of volunteer work to Ronald McDonald House Charities. Five to seven team members from the Corporate office in Dallas and the regional office in Chicago will spend a day volunteering at their respective charity each Thursday, performing activities such as window cleaning, carpet extraction, furniture transportation, painting, and many other facility maintenance needs.
Community and Family Activities Coordinator at the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, Gracie Thompson said, “We’re so excited for PMUSA to help us with some of our much needed projects here around the House.”
